Solar energy

Solar energy is the energy from the sun in the shape of warmth and light. Home Energy offers several product through which you can convert solar energy into electricity.
Electricity from solar panels and Solar Heat tubes is environmentally friendly, renewable energy that doesn’t emit any harmful substances. A regular solar installation for a single house can diminish the CO2 emissions by two tons per year, which constitutes more than forty tons for the installations full lifecycle

Solar collectors

Product description
A solar panel converts sunlight into electricity, namely direct current. Before this electricity can be used, it needs to be converted to alternating current. This is done by the inverter, which is supplied with the solar panels. The alternating current can be used for the electronic devices.

To determine the amount of solar panels you want, you have to look at two aspects:
- your energy consumption
- The size of your roof

To determine the amount of solar panels you need, you divide the amount of kiloWatthours by 0,85. For example: if you use up 3.400 kWh per year on electricity, you need an installation with a capacity of about 4.000 Wattpeak (Wp). Our solar panels have a capacity of 260 Wp. This means you would require an installation of 15 panels.

Models

Solar Heat DF
The unique aspect of the Solar Heat DF system is that can be installed horizontally or vertically. So if you are planning to install a solar heat system on a flat roof, a railing or a wall, then the Home Energy DF (Direct Flow) Solar Heat system is the most suitable. The tubes from a DF Solar Heat system cannot be removed from the collector body. The DF collector is only available in a version with 6 tubes; multiple DF collectors can of course be connected to each other.
The DF Solar Heat system is supplied as a complete kit including a pressure tank, pump unit and solar controller with 2 temperature sensors.

Solar Heat HP
The Solar Heat HP system is ideal if you want to install a Solar Heat system at an angle between 20 ° -70 ° (for example a tiled roof). The collector, without the tubes, is installed on a frame. Thereafter the vacuum tubes can be inserted easily into the installed collector body. This method has many advantages, including the absence of heavy and large components and easy maintenance. The HP system is available in 8, 12 or 16 tube versions. Several modules can, of course, be connected in series to generate more heat.
